News from the Bay of Plenty – sadly Denise Morrison has decided to “cross the ditch” and support our sister organisation AITD.  Thanks goes to Denise for setting up and organising the NZATD Bay of Plenty Group during the last few years – we wish you all the best for whatever lies ahead – we will miss you!   As a result, NZATD wishes to acknowledge and thank the new NZATD Bay of Plenty Group organisers, Angie Lund and Sonia Appleby-Maine, for taking on this important role.
A new sub-branch of NZATD Wellington – the NZATD Manawatu Group – has just started up.  Their first meeting will be on September 25th – check out details in the Event Calendar.
Training & Development Feb 2012New Joint Publication with AITD

From February 2012 NZATD joined forces with the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) to make AITD’s Training & Development a joint trans-Tasman publication.  Training & Development has now replaced People and Performance as NZATD’s official journal.

NZATD Response to NZQA Consultation:  Proposal for Changes to the Rules for Training Schemes

NZATD has responded to the NZQA’s proposed changes to the Rules governing training schemes. The changes arise from the Education Amendment Act 2011 and will impact on the provision of training in modules or papers which can be assessed under the assessment standards under the Directory of Assessment Standards.
