NZATD is updating its constitution to align with the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and Regulations 2023—and we want your input!

This is your opportunity to:

  • Learn what’s changing and why it matters
  • Understand how the new legislation gives us more flexibility to serve our members
  • Ask questions about the draft constitution
  • Share your feedback before the final version is voted on at the AGM in November

We’ve used the Companies Office’s constitution builder to ensure compliance with the new Act. The draft is colour-coded to show which sections are mandatory, recommended, or optional, and which parts can be changed.

Feedback is open until midnight, 26 August – but this session is your best chance to get clarity and contribute meaningfully.

Cancellations and Attendance:

  • Please give 48 hours notice of cancellation.
  • Once registered, you will be expected to pay regardless of attendance.
  • Substitutions permitted if transferred to someone holding the same
  • ticket type e.g. member. Non-members are not permitted to attend in place of a member.
