There’s something special that happens when L&D people gather over good coffee and great conversation.

Join us for our Hamilton Morning Edition – a relaxed, welcoming breakfast get‑together for learning and development professionals across the Waikato. If you enjoyed our last session (and many of you told us how good it was!), you’ll know this is far more than just networking – it’s genuine connection, shared insight, and that energising feeling that comes from being in the room with people who get what you do.

This is your chance to:

• Connect with fellow L&D professionals in an informal, friendly setting
• Swap stories, challenges, and ideas that spark fresh thinking
• Build relationships that extend beyond the breakfast table
• Start your day feeling inspired, supported, and part of a vibrant community

We’ll be gathering at Cafe Fresca, located at 78 Alison Street, Hamilton Lake. It’s an ideal spot – easy parking, great food and coffee, friendly staff, and reserved tables waiting for us. All you need to do is turn up, grab something delicious, and enjoy the conversation.

Good to know:

• This event is open to NZATD members and non‑members, so feel free to bring along a colleague or friend who works in learning and development.
• The event is free – simply purchase your own food or drink on the day.

Event eligibility: This event is open to NZATD members, affiliates and non-members.

Registering for this event:

• Members can register for this event by logging in using their member login details.
• Affiliates: (HRNZ, AITD, CDANZ, FLANZ, ICF, NZOQ, PSANZ, TechCommNZ) can attend at member rates. When registering, follow the non-member registration process and use the 'Online Affiliate' promo code to access the member rate. Contact your affiliate administrator for this code.

Cancellations and Attendance:

• Please give 48 hours notice of cancellation.
• Once registered, you will be expected to pay regardless of attendance.
• Substitutions permitted if transferred to someone holding the same
• ticket type e.g. member. Non-members are not permitted to attend in place of a member.
