Developing an effective L&D strategy is essential but can be challenging.

How do we balance influencing organisational performance with stakeholder expectations, strategic alignment and emerging technologies?

Join us for this practical lunchtime session on Formulating L&D Strategy, led by Phil Garing, the NZATD L&D Strategist of the Year 2025.

This session is designed for L&D managers and leaders who already have a baseline understanding of L&D strategy and are looking to deepen, refine, or refresh their approach.  Together, we’ll explore current themes and real‑world challenges in L&D strategy formulation, focusing on what actually works in today’s organisational context.

Topics may include:

  • Engaging and consulting effectively with stakeholders
  • Aligning L&D strategy with organisational and business strategy
  • Demonstrating value, impact, and ROI
  • Using AI to support L&D strategy development

You can select which topics interest you in the registration form.

The session will be interactive in nature and under Chatham House Rules, creating a safe and constructive learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to test ideas, learn from peers, and take away practical insights you can apply in your own organisation.

Doors open at 12.15 to allow networking time before the session starts.
