Masterclass 2026

Turn a dull eLearning module into something people actually want to complete

Join us for a hands-on, interactive masterclass where you’ll go beyond theory and get stuck into redesigning a real eLearning experience.

NZATD is pleased to be partnering with Chameleon Creator to present this masterclass. Their expert team will facilitate the session and be on hand throughout the day to guide, support, and share practical tips and techniques.

Starting with a deliberately “clunky” module, you’ll work in small groups to transform it into learning that is engaging, accessible, and effective.

What makes this different:

  • Practical, hands-on format (not a lecture)

  • Work on a real example – not just concepts

  • Learn from others through collaboration and discussion

  • Leave with ideas, techniques, and inspiration you can use straight away

What you’ll experience

Participants will:

  • Analyse a sample eLearning module to identify what isn’t working

  • Redesign and improve the module using a structured approach

  • Share and compare different solutions across groups

  • Receive pre-session access to the Chameleon Creator* and resources

  • Learn from experienced L&D practitioners

  • Enjoy a fun, collaborative and creative learning environment

Who should attend

This masterclass is ideal for:

  • Learning and development professionals

  • Anyone responsible for creating or improving eLearning

You don’t need to be an expert — just bring your curiosity and willingness to try.

What you’ll leave with

  • A clear understanding of what makes eLearning effective (and what doesn’t)

  • Practical techniques you can apply immediately

  • Experience working through a structured redesign process

  • Ideas you can take back to your organisation

  • Connections with others in the L&D community

WHY SEATS ARE LIMITED

To ensure a truly hands-on experience, participant numbers are intentionally capped. This allows everyone to actively participate, work directly with the facilitators and receive personalised support throughout the day.

Once all places are filled, registrations will close.

The MASTERCLASS
focuses on how to create better digital learning.

The DIGITAL LEARNING SHOWCASE demonstrates how organisations are putting those ideas into practice.  Check it out.
